Today's "Word of Wonder": Limitless
The Scripture for Today
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

The Devotion: Shattering the Ceiling of Expectation
We all have limits. We look at our bank account, our skills, our past mistakes, or our daily schedule, and we create a mental ceiling. We calculate what is possible for us, and then we pray, work, and dream just up to that line.
But today's WOW Scripture is an invitation to shatter that ceiling.
The language Paul uses here is staggering. God is not just able to do what we ask (our expressed prayers); he is not just able to do what we imagine (our wildest dreams). He is able to do "immeasurably more"—or, in other translations, "exceedingly abundantly above"—all of it.
This means the greatest barrier to what God wants to do in your life is often not His ability, but the size of your asking and the scope of your imagination.
When we approach a challenge, we typically start with the power we have in our own hands. But this verse reminds us that the power source is not our talent, our willpower, or our resources; it is "his power that is at work within us." That power—the same power that raised Christ from the dead—is already active inside every believer.
A WOW Moment is realizing that your limits are not His limits. Don't pray small prayers because you have a small view of yourself; pray bold prayers because you have an infinite view of the power working on your behalf. Stop restricting your vision to what you can afford, manage, or achieve on your own. Start daring to believe in the "immeasurably more."

Take a moment and write down the biggest goal or challenge you are currently facing. Now, cross out the "realistic" outcome you've been working toward.
Ask yourself: What would the immeasurably more look like in this situation? How does shifting your focus from your own ability to "the power that is at work within us" change your next step?
