The Scripture Spotlight for Today
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God... On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit." — Revelation 22:1-2 (NIV)
The Devotion: The Eternal Garden
We began this journey in Genesis, where the first garden was lost. We end in Revelation, where the Garden is restored, expanded, and made eternal. Home is the spiritual "North Star" that guides our growth. It is the place where the "wilt" of this world is finally exchanged for the "weight of glory."
The WOW Moment today is realizing that You are a Citizen of the Garden.
The vibrancy you’ve felt over the last 30 days isn't just a mood; it’s your true nature. You were created for a world where God walks in the cool of the day and where everything is in full bloom. Today, the miracle in the ordinary is the realization that every flower you see and every prayer you pray is a "postcard" from your true Home. The Gardener who began this good work in you is faithful to bring you all the way to the gates of that City.
Wonder Prompt (Actionable Reflection)
Today, practice The Forever Glance.
- Action: Look at a plant or a tree today and think: "One day, I will see the Tree of Life." Then, take a moment to thank the Holy Spirit for being the "Water" that sustained you through this 30-day journey.
- Shift: Notice how the small stresses of today shrink when you realize you are headed for an eternal harvest.
- Prayer: "Lord, thank You for these 30 days. Thank You for tilling my heart and growing Your fruit in me. Keep me vibrant, keep me thirsty for Your Word, and keep my eyes fixed on the Eternal Garden You have prepared for me. I love You, Gardener. Amen."
