Today's Word of Wonder: Vitality

The Scripture Spotlight for Today

"In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!'"
— Luke 24:5-6 (NIV)

The Devotion: The Heart of the Bloom

There is a specific kind of energy in a garden on the first day of spring—it’s an unstoppable Vitality. It’s the force that pushes a tender green shoot through solid concrete. This is the energy of the Resurrection. It is not a quiet, polite "improvement"; it is an explosion of life that changes the molecular structure of everything it touches.

The WOW Moment today is realizing that you are no longer a "Victim of the Wilderness," but a Participant in the Resurrection.

The angels’ question to the women is the question for us today: Why are you looking for the living among the dead? We often try to find our joy in dead relationships, our worth in dead accomplishments, or our peace in dead habits. But the Vibrant Life begins when we turn our backs on the tomb and walk into the Garden. Today, the miracle in the ordinary is the realization that the "pruning" of your past was only the setup for the "blooming" of your today. You aren't just surviving; you are rising.

Wonder Prompt (Actionable Reflection)

Today, practice The Sunrise Shout.

  • Action: Find something in your life right now that feels "new"—a blooming flower, a fresh cup of coffee, or the light of the sun. Point at it and say out loud: "He is risen, and I am alive in Him!"

  • Shift: Notice how your lungs feel fuller and your heart feels lighter when you stop identifying with the "buried" version of yourself.

  • Prayer: "Hallelujah! Lord, thank You for the victory. I receive Your Resurrection life today. I choose to walk out of the tomb and into the Vibrant Life You have for me. Amen."
